Bruichladdich Distillery Firm has launched Port Charlotte 18 12 months Outdated.
This stays true to the historically closely peated Port Charlotte profile, the distillery says.
The spirit matured in a mixture of refill sherry casks (74%) and refill French oak wine casks (26%).
Altogether this provides dried fruit and sweetness to the only malt, in keeping with distillery notes, complementing Port Charlotte’s barbeque peat smoke.
